Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will miss one-to-two weeks with right knee inflammation before being re-evaluated, the club announced Tuesday.
Edwards is averaging a career-high 29.5 points as well as 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.4 steals in 58 games this season.
The 24-year-old had already been ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Phoenix Suns before imaging revealed the inflammation.
The Timberwolves (41-27) sit sixth in the Western Conference, two games up on the Suns for the play-in tournament cutoff.
