Lonzo Ball is right on track in his recovery from a torn meniscus.

The Los Angeles Lakers' young floor general "is going to be 100 percent available for training camp," general manager Rob Pelinka reiterated to the media Wednesday, according to The Athletic's Bill Oram.

However, Pelinka wouldn't elaborate on whether Ball's injury would necessitate surgery, citing the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

The Lakers reportedly believe that Ball's camp has intentionally leaked word of the knee injury to help scuttle the possibility of including the 20-year-old in a trade this summer - such as one to acquire disgruntled San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.

In 52 appearances through his rookie campaign, Ball averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 assists, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game - though he shot just 36 percent from the field.
