Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is confident things are going to turn around for him.

"I always tell the guys, don't worry about me," Guerrero said following Sunday's 6-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles, according to MLB.com's Keegan Matheson. "I'm going to be good. When I get hot, I'll get hot. I don't go up there to miss."

Guerrero has struggled to repeat his production from last season when the Blue Jays reached the World Series. Following Sunday's 0-for-4 performance against the Orioles, the 27-year-old owns a .287/.378/.374 slash line with three home runs and 25 RBIs.

Guerrero, who entered the season with 183 career homers, hasn't hit a round-tripper since May 17 despite displaying elite bat speed.

"I've been feeling good and I've been hitting the ball hard," Guerrero said. "There's nothing I can do, I just try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball. I've been hitting the ball hard lately, but this is baseball. I'm going to keep working hard and keep doing this. Things are going to go my way. At one point, the baseball is going to be good to me. Right now, I'm hitting the ball hard, just out. I know that's not going to be all year."

Guerrero is in the first year of a 14-year, $500-million extension he signed with the Blue Jays in April 2025.
